Custom Insoles
Our feet work tirelessly every day, whether we are walking, exercising, or standing for long periods of time. However, there are ways to relieve this discomfort and provide our feet with the comfort they need
Insoles can improve an individuals biomechanics. This refers to the way the body moves and its impact on our overall posture. They provide additional support and cushioning, which can help improve gait, reduce the risk of injuries and prevent or alleviate musculoskeletal conditions such as plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, heel pain and overpronation. Appropiately assessed and fitted insoles can also help improve the body’s alignment, reducing excessive pressure and stress on the feet, ankles, knees, and other parts of the body.
There are a number of ways that insoles can be constructed. We are happy to work with our clients to provide practical solutions that minimize the impact on their preferred shoe styles and we pay close attention to footwear fitting to ensure the best possible outcome. Where we feel Orthotics is not the most appropiate clinical intervention, clients will be advised accordingly and directed to the most appropiate service.
